Working together to raise funds for the school and the community
What We Do
Stalbridge PTA has five main branches:
Chair: Kirsten is our chair, and she’s responsible for running the PTA meetings and follow-up actions, including setting up working groups, event planning and liaising with the Headteacher and class reps.
Secretary: Sam is our secretary and is responsible for taking minutes during meetings, distributing these to the PTA and Headmaster, organising next steps and nudging when needed.
Finance: Rachelle is our Treasurer and is responsible for taking care of the money including incoming funds and outgoings, floats for events, paying expenses and donations to the school. They also look after book-keeping and report our financial position back to the school and to the Charity Commission.
Class reps: This will be something new for Stalbridge Primary. We believe Class reps are an important link between the parents and the school, and are responsible for organising volunteers for class-related events like cake sales. Also liaising with the teacher and keeping parents up-to-date on class news, and arranging class coffee mornings and nights out.
Event volunteers: These parents and carers are the backbone of our PTA and none of our fundraising events could happen without them. Our PTA volunteers help make Stalbridge Primary such a friendly community and amazing learning environment for our kids.
